Zlatan Ibrahimovic has laughed off rumours linking him with a move to Roma, insisting that he’ll see out his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

The Swedish striker was linked with a return to Serie A by the Swedish Press, with the former Milan forward said to have a stormy relationship with PSG Coach Laurent Blanc.

However, speaking after a friendly between the French club and Inter, Ibrahimovic denied the rumours.

“Could I return to Serie A?” the big striker considered.

“No. Some have talked about it, some have even announced it, but it’s not true at all.

“I have another year on my PSG contract, so I’ll stay for now and then we’ll see what happens.

“These stories are invented.”

The ex-Barcelona man was also asked whether he could actually retire when his contract expires, and the forward was less categorical on that issue.

“I hope that the Zlatan of today is still the strongest.

“I try to improve myself every season, as long as I’m making progress I want to play, but the day that doesn’t happen then I’ll stop.”
