Serie A minnows Novara are reportedly showing an interest in forgotten Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta.

The latter has yet to play for the Old Lady this season. Although he has recovered from a couple of injuries, boss Antonio Conte hasn’t used him for a single minute.

A January move is a possibility and the 2006 World Cup winner is being paired with relegation-threatened Novara.

It is being suggested that Iaquinta, 32, could join Novara on a six-month loan in the New Year. Juve could also pay part of his wages.

Novara, newly promoted, are in 18th place after picking up just two wins and four draws from 12 games.

The Piedmont outfit have scored 14 goals in Serie A so far this term, but they have conceded 21 – the most in the Italian top flight.
