The Viola have officially named former Sassuolo and Sampdoria boss Iachini as Vincenzo Montella’s successor.
The club revealed that the 55-year-old will meet the press at the club’s facilities.
“On Saturday, December 28 at 15:30 GMT in the press room at the Artemio Franchi, the press conference and presentation of the new Fiorentina coach Mr Giuseppe Iachini will take place,” the club wrote on their official website.
Iachini, who was sacked by Empoli in March, has also had previous spells in clubs like Chievo, Brescia, Sampdoria and Palermo.
He takes over a Fiorentina side placed 15th in Serie A, only three points above the relegation zone. Iachini will lead the team for the first time against Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara on January 6.
