Fiorentina’s Borja Valero is adamant he would not swap forward Nikola Kalinic for either Gonzalo Higuain or Mauro Icardi.
The Croatian scored 12 goals in his debut season for the Viola last term, with Icardi bagging 16 and Higuain 36 in the same period.
However, his teammate Valero insists there is no other forward in world football who is a better fit for the Viola.
“I wouldn’t swap them. For what [Paulo] Sousa asks for from a centre-forward there isn’t a better fit in the world than Kalinic.
