Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne says he is proud to represent his hometown club and wants to finish his career with the Azzurri.
The 22-year-old has been in and out of Coach Rafa Benitez’s starting XI this season and taken criticism from supporters, but this has not put him off wanting a very long stay at the club.

“I’m very happy here but it doesn’t all depend on me,” Insigne told news network +N.
“It also depends on the club. I need to work hard and do the maximum I can to stay here forever.
“I am proud to be the only Neapolitan at the club at the moment, I will always try my best to give happiness to the club who have always believed in me.
“For me it’s very emotional to wear the Napoli shirt as a Neapolitan. I wish that everyone could have had the luck that I have.”
Insigne was then asked to compare start striker Gonzalo Higuain with the departed Edinson Cavani.
“They are both great champions but they are different,” he explained.
“Higuain is difficult to play against, he plays for the team and doesn’t just think about scoring but also about the assist.
“Cavani is more of an out and out goalscorer, he even used to want to score lots of goals in training!”
