Elseid Hysaj believes a change of Coach has been ‘good’ for Napoli as ‘I’m improving with each game’ under Carlo Ancelotti.

Hysaj found himself in and out of Ancelotti’s starting XI earlier in the season and had been linked with following Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea, but the full-back has gone on to start seven of Napoli’s last eight games.

“I don’t think the result of the first leg will make us lose focus,” he said at a Press conference for Thursday’s Europa League last-16 second leg against Red Bull Salzburg.

“We know Salzburg are a good team with good players. We’ll go out on the field calmly, but with the desire to achieve results.

“The absences of Koulibaly and Maksimovic? They’re two important players for us, but whoever plays in their place will give everything on the field. We’re a close-knit group.

“A goal? I’d give everything to score one, but it hasn’t happened yet. However, I’m calm and relaxed about it.

“My relationship with Ancelotti? For me it was a big change because I had the same Coach for six years.

“However, change every now and then is good. I think I’m improving with each game.”
