Elseid Hysaj’s agent will meet Napoli “on Thursday or Friday” and would “gladly accept” a release clause in any new contract.
The full-back joined from Empoli last summer, but is in talks over an improved deal after an impressive first season at San Paolo.
“I’ll meet Napoli between Thursday and Friday,” Mario Giuffredi revealed on Radio Crc.
“We’ll discuss the financial part of the contract with [President Aurelio] De Laurentiis and [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli.

“The signatures will only come when there’s a meeting point, but it won’t be in those days. Hsyaj has proven his worth, it won’t be a long and difficult meeting.
“A release clause? I don’t know if Napoli will offer it. If that happens, we’d accept it gladly, it’s a convenient formula for the player.
“It means getting a start on the work of the coming years, setting a price.”
