Bournemouth are in talks with Roma for Justin Kluivert and Matías Viña and their sales can help the Giallorossi secure Gianluca Scamacca’s signing, reports Gazzetta.

The Giallorossi have identified the Italy international as their priority target to replace the injured Tammy Abraham, but Tiago Pinto has proposed a loan deal, while West Ham are looking for a permanent transfer.

Wednesday’s paper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 12) provides the latest updates on negotiations confirming that Scamacca is open to returning to Roma, having already played in the club’s youth sector between 2012 and 2015.

However, before holding a new round of talks with the Hammers, Roma need to sell some of their players and cash in €30m by the end of the month.

The Giallorossi are in talks with Bournemouth for Kulivert and Viña. The latter spent the last season on loan at the Vitality Stadium but the Cherries haven’t activated their €15m option to buy. They remain interested in the Uruguay international who is not on Roma’s plans for 2023-24.

Roma want at least €10m for Kluivert, while Viña could leave on a permanent transfer for €7.5m.

Those two sales would help Roma comply with the Settlement Agreement and boost their budget to get Scamacca.

Roma have already sold Benjamin Tahirovic to Ajax, while Sassuolo are close to signing Cristian Volpato and Filippo Missori for circa €12m.
