Maurizio Ganz is looking forward to seeing Keisuke Honda play for former club Milan in the New Year.
The Japanese international will join the outfit on a free transfer in January after his contract with CSKA Moscow expired.
“We could see a Milan play with a Christmas Tree formation,” the former striker told Milan News on Wednesday.
“They could line-up with Honda and Kaka playing behind Mario Balotelli. I think that side would scare opponents.”
Ganz also welcomed reports that the Diavolo are in pole position to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio, a player who has refused to extend a Torino contract which will expire in 2014.
“He’s an excellent player,” added the 45-year-old. “But if he did come in then he would have to be judged given that he is coming from a mid-table side to Milan.”
