Genoa’s Oscar Hiljemark believes anyone coming up against his side now know they will be in for a tough game.

The Griffone secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Champions League chasers Inter yesterday, the Marassi side’s third win in succession.

And the Swede, who was recalled from a loan spell at Panathinaikos in January, praised the unity of the Rossoblu squad.

“We played a great match and brought home a very important three points for us,” the 25-year-old midfielder reacted post-match.

And the Swede, who was recalled from a loan spell at Panathinaikos in January, praised the unity of the Rossoblu squad.

“We played a great match and brought home a very important three points for us,” the 25-year-old midfielder reacted post-match.

“Now, this team has the right spirit, we are all united and it is difficult for any team facing Genoa.”

Hiljemark praised the impact of Coach Davide Ballardini, who replaced Ivan Juric earlier in the season and has guided Genoa from relegation candidates to a position of mid-table security.

“I am happy to be here. I had already worked with Ballardini [at Palermo], he is very important for the team.

Bologna [next opponents] will be an important match in terms of our position in the table.”
