Gonzalo Higuain said Juventus “knew English teams always leave gaps at the back and we had to make the most of them” against Tottenham.
The first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 ended 2-2 in Turin after Juve had gone 2-0 up with a Higuain brace.
It was the opposite at Wembley, because Hon Seung-Min opened the scoring until Higuain netted one and set up another for Paulo Dybala in under three minutes.

“It was a very difficult match against a great side like Tottenham, who always give their best and are aggressive, but we know English teams always leave gaps at the back and would give us opportunities,” Pipita told Mediaset Premium.
“We had to make the most of them and we did. I’m very happy with this win, as a comeback at Wembley is not easy.
“I am proud of this team and of the medical staff, who worked so hard to get me in shape for this game. Thank you to my wife, who put up with me over the last two weeks, as I was a terrible pain.”
Does that mean Higuain got married?
“No! Girlfriend. I called her wife because I will soon be a father, so it slipped, but no, there has been no wedding, despite what stories they create in Argentina!”
