Gonzalo Higuain gave short shrift to questions on his future after the Copa America. “When I'm finished here, I’ll dedicate myself to Napoli.”
The striker is on international duty with Argentina following a Serie A record-breaking campaign with 36 goals in 35 games.
“When you play for Argentina, you are 100 per cent concentrated,” said Pipita in a Press conference.
“We have a great side that can win the Copa America and want to have a great tournament. It will be very difficult, but we’ll try our best to achieve this objective.
“My mind is focused only on Argentina and when my duty is finished here, I will dedicate myself to Napoli.”
Questions on a possible departure from the Stadio San Paolo were shrugged off.
“When your mind is calm, the rest follows suit. This year I had the confidence that in past years I had been missing. Playing many games in a season does take its toll, but the Seleccion jersey gives me great motivation.”
