In recent days it has emerged that a move to the Granata is an option, and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Hart is keen to move to Serie A.

Toro would pay a large chunk of the ‘keeper’s wages as part of a loan deal, but Sunderland would be willing to pay his entire wage, making that option attractive for his current side.

However, given that Hart would prefer to move to Torino, they are attempting to convince the Citizens to do the deal with them.

The Granata are optimistic about the outcome of the deal, so much so that there is a private plane booked to take Hart to Italy tomorrow, should City give the go-ahead tonight.

The Guardian also reports that Hart wants to make the move to Turin, but there's still disagreement over how much of his wage Toro should contribute.
