Sky Sport Italia are suggesting that Marek Hamsik has finally put pen to paper on a new contract at Napoli.

The Slovakian has apparently signed a one-year extension which means he is now committed to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until June 2016.

The 24-year-old, seven goals in 31 League games this term, joined the Azzurri in the summer of 2007 from Brescia for around €5m.
