Former Milan forward Ruud Gullit has admitted his surprise at seeing Clarence Seedorf be named as the new Rossoneri boss.
Seedorf confirmed at a Press conference on Tuesday that he would be succeeding Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro.
And Gullit has conceded that he was astonished to hear that the Botafogo midfielder had been given the job.
“I am very surprised at the choice made by the club,” he told RTL 4.
“Clarence has no experience as a Coach. Despite this however, I think it will prove to be a good choice in the near future.”
