The 25-year-old’s contract with Il Toro expires at the end of the season, meaning that the San Siro outfit could get their man for free in the summer.
However, Walter Mazzarri’s men are keen to add to their squad in January, but cannot come to an agreement with Torino about a fee for D’Ambrosio.
Those negotiations are set to continue until the end of the transfer window.
