Francesco Guidolin has issued a rallying cry to his Udinese players ahead of their away clash with Serie A relegation rivals Bologna.

The Friuli-Venezia-Giulia side have lost their last four League games to spiral down the table and the former Monaco, Parma and Palermo boss says it is now time to start delivering results.

“The time has come to put our good intentions into action,” Guidolin announced at his pre-match Press conference today.

“There’s not really much to think about, we just need to fight and do everything we can.

“I want to see the players ready to throw themselves into the game, concentrated, attentive and ready.

“In the most difficult periods you need your experienced players to support the younger players.

“This is an important game and we know we will play against a tough opposition who are determined to fight to stay up.

“It will be a tough match but the important thing is to approach it the right way.”

The Bianconeris recent poor form has led to speculation about Guidolin’s long-term future in the hot-seat, but the 58-year-old said he was fully focused on getting a positive result on Sunday.

“I know the rules of the game but it does not take away any of my concentration and focus,” he said.
