The former Udinese boss has now overcome a chest infection that saw him hospitalised and spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his time in Wales.

“We have reached 40 points, an important objective. We’re here to work well and, aside from the weather, it’s nice here in Wales.”

Another Italian tactician, Claudio Ranieri, is dominating the Premier League with his minnows Leicester City.
