The former Udinese boss caused concern recently when he was taken to hospital before a game against Arsenal, but he assures that ‘next week it’ll be back to normal’.

“I speak with the players, attend meetings and carry out some jobs in the office,” Guidolin told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I speak with the players, attend meetings and carry out some jobs in the office,” Guidolin told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I live days as a manager in the English style, but I continue to prefer the training pitch.

“The doctors advised me to ease back in. I don’t know if I’ll be back on the bench for Bournemouth, I’ll decide at the last moment but next week things will be back to normal.”

Guidolin is a former Palermo Coach and was asked about the chaos at the Rosanero this week, with Beppe Iachini leaving the club for the second time this season.

“Seen from a distance, what’s happening at Palermo is even worse than you may perceive up close,” he said.

“Even in England the job of a Coach isn’t easy, but the climate is completely different. The manager must be respected and no one intrudes in his work. In Italy it’s always getting worse.”
