Udinese Coach Francesco Guidolin says he wants to finish his career in football working abroad.

The 58-year-old had a year as Coach of French side AS Monaco from 2005-06 but has otherwise spent his entire career working within the peninsula.

“I would like to stay here in Udine until the end of my career in Italy,” Guidolin told journalists at a Press conference.

“But I would like to finish my career abroad.”

The experienced tactician was then asked about his club’s fans, who have been criticised recently by Bianconero President Giampaolo Pozzo.

“I don’t like all the moaning,” he answered. “I hold the fans who follow us home and away and support us regardless in very high regard.

“It is not for me to wonder why there are low attendances at home games, I have read about some of the reasons but I don’t know the truth.

Finally, Guidolin commented on his team’s current situation.

“The team needs to try to get the points we need to be able to play better and without fear.

“We must play well.”
