The Colombian midfielder is thought to have agreed an €18m move to the Chinese club, with the deal to be made official in the coming days.

However, some concerns have been raised after Luiz Adriano flew back from the Far East without having completed his transfer.

Despite this, FCInterNews reports that Guarin’s move is not in danger of a similar collapse, as the  player has already agreed a contract worth €7m per year for three seasons.

Guarin’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra was asked directly if the deal was at risk, and responded to assembled media “we’re calm”.
