Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola calls Napoli “an incredible team”, and praises Carlo Ancelotti.
The Partenopei beat Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday, and with City facing the Reds on Sunday the Catalan was asked if he was surprised by the match.
“You are surprised because you don’t know what happens in Europe,” Guardiola responded.
“Napoli is an incredible team, an incredible team. They play so well, they have a great manager, and they were outstanding.

“When you play away it’s completely different to here in the Premier League. The level is higher, the opponents, the way they play, the personality, the courage to be a top team.
“In Europe all of them – or most of them – have it. Of course Liverpool tried to play their game but I give more credit to what Napoli did.
“I don’t think Liverpool played badly. They tried to do the same movements in attack and defence, so what’s the surprise? I’m not surprised that Napoli played so well.”
