Les Bleus continued their preparation for the 2018 World Cup, which kicks off in two weeks in Russia.
“We still need to improve the details and make the movements more natural, but we are on the right track,” the Atletico Madrid star told TF1.
“It remains a friendly match, but we did well and are keeping our feet on the ground.”
France used a 4-3-3 formation with Griezmann and Kylian Mbappé swapping the centre-forward role.
“It’s a new approach, we are trying to find each other on the field and when we do, we create some very dangerous attacking situations.
“I just want to do my best and be on the pitch, it doesn’t matter where I play. As long as we win, I’m happy.”
