Udinese ‘wanted to win at all costs’ says Luca Gotti after the Friulani’s first win of the season against Parma.

"I saw a team that wanted to win at all costs,” Gotti told Sky Sport after the game.

“Today we conceded little but we conceded two goals. I am one of those coaches who do not want to concede goals which doesn’t mean you can’t play many strikers.”

Udinese ‘wanted to win at all costs’ says Luca Gotti after the Friulani’s first win of the season against Parma.

"I saw a team that wanted to win at all costs,” Gotti told Sky Sport after the game.

Udinese faced a Parma side that were decimated by seven cases of Coronavirus.

“We didn’t know the situation of Parma,” Gotti revealed.

“We have so many things to worry about in our house that we can’t deal with the issues of others.

“It’s very complicated because there’s this variable that affects everyday life. It’s not always easy to follow protocols.

“It’s hard to handle all the variations behind a contagion.”

Udinese did also register a case of Covid earlier last week.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been in self-isolation, but it’s not easy to handle this situation.”

Ex Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu made his debut for the Friulani entering from the bench in the second half.

“I think he is an attacking winger, that’ his position,” Gotti concluded.
