“It was a real Serie A level game, very balanced, and Rodrigo De Paul’s goal allowed us to take a certain approach,” Gotti told Sky Sport Italia.
“We did well to keep Genoa away from our penalty area. It was an emotional match and luck was on our side at the end, unlike the time we faced Genoa last season.
“Our current position in the table could’ve been better, as we made some avoidable errors and paid a heavy price for them. Now we must prepare for Lazio and Atalanta, facing them with respect, but not fear.”
