Max Allegri believes his Juventus side have a ‘good chance’ of winning the Champions League against Barcelona.

The Bianconeri will take on the Catalan side in Munich on June 6, and despite being underdogs, Allegri believes his side can take the trophy back to Turin.

“First things first, we have to prepare for the game tomorrow,” Allegri told assembled media in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Inter.

“Then on Sunday we start preparing for the Coppa Italia final [with Lazio]. After the Coppa Italia, we have Napoli, where we’ll be presented the Scudetto on the pitch.

“I don’t know when the party will be. These are details, the club will let you know when there will be a party.

“Then we have a week where we can get a few days of rest, where we have to prepare for this Champions League final without getting too worked up, so we don’t arrive there with anxiety.

“It’s a final, we’ll play it knowing that we’re facing a very strong team, but also knowing that we have a very good chance of taking home this Champions League.

“It won’t be easy, but I don’t think a Champions League final is ever easy.

“But we mustn’t play it with stress, so we must remember the final is on June 6. We can’t play it before then, and we can’t move it.”

With Serie A already wrapped up, is there a danger that Juventus could lose some motivation ahead of the Coppa Italia and Champions League finals?

“The motivation should be that we are Juventus, so we have to play some great games. And now that I have everyone available, some of the lads who have played less can get some playing time.

“We’ll have [Kwadwo] Asamoah from tomorrow, who needs to get a bit of playing time in his legs, even though he’s not on the Champions League list, but it’s still important to see what condition he’s in.

“The same goes for Romulo, we have a few players who have been out for some time, so maybe they’ll get a chance to play in these next few games.

“Then on Wednesday we have this game [the Coppa final], and then two more games [in Serie A] which we can use to keep working and to keep in good condition, which will be the key thing for June 6.”
