The German international arrived in Italy with a formidable goalscoring record after his Bayern Munich stint, but has scored just seven goals in 29 Serie A games.
“I want to stay at Fiorentina for another year,” Gomez explained, speaking to Stuttgarter Zeitung.

“I want to stay at Fiorentina for another year,” Gomez explained, speaking to Stuttgarter Zeitung.
“Next year will be very important for me, I want to get back into the national team for the European Championships, so I’m playing to get a chance in 2016.
“However, if Fiorentina say they want to sell me, then I won’t refuse that solution.”
