Napoli-owned midfielder Eddy Gnahore, on loan at Carpi, is in hospital after a serious car crash.
The 22-year-old Frenchman joined Carpi during the January transfer window.
According to reports, he was involved in a collision with a truck on the A21 motorway between Brescia and Turin.
He was airlifted to hospital and initial reports suggest he has fractured his pelvis.
His condition is not believed to be life-threatening, but it’s safe to say his season is over if this fracture is confirmed.
