Genoa confirmed this week that he is considering his options and discussing the move with his family.
The club already accepted a €5m offer and it is reported Gila is on the verge of accepting.
He would be reunited with his former Bologna teammate Alessandro Diamanti, who joined Guangzhou Evergrande in February.
