Jiangsu Suning continue to hit headlines, as Inter and Roma reportedly want more money for Fredy Guarin and Gervinho.

The Chinese club emerged on to the European scene suddenly with a €14m deal for Milan forward Luiz Adriano, but this week he sensationally returned to Italy after claiming Jiangsu had not kept their promises.

Naturally, this has made Inter and Roma somewhat nervous, as they don’t want to spend weeks negotiating transfers only for them to fall through at the last minute.

Sky Sport Italia now suggest Roma rejected the initial offer for Gervinho, but are prepared to accept if it goes up to €10m plus bonuses for a total of around €12m to €13m.

Inter also turned down the first written proposal for midfielder Guarin, believed to be €12.5m.

The Colombian’s agent vented his frustration at the lack of genuine action after several days of intense negotiations.

“The Jiangsu intermediaries disappeared like two ghosts,” complained agent Marcelo Ferreyra.
