Lazio’s Santiago Gentiletti has asked sporting director Igli Tare to send him out on loan, according to reports.

The Argentine centre-back is believed to still be suffering from a knee injury he picked up last season, which ruled him out for eight months.

Il Tempo reports that the 30-year-old asked Tare in the last few days to let him try a new experience out on loan for six months.

The defender has received criticism for his performances so far this season and is believed to want a move to somewhere calmer where he can play with less pressure.
