Genoa have rejected reports that summer signing Marco Borriello has been made available for transfer.

The striker’s future at the club has been placed into some doubt after he was dropped from the 1-1 draw with Inter before Christmas for disciplinary reasons.

Borriello has subsequently been linked with an imminent move, with clubs such as Palermo, Juventus” data-scaytid=”4″>Juventus and Inter all linked.

However, the Marassi outfit have today insisted that the Roma-owned forward will see out the campaign at the Stadio Ferraris.

“Borriello is not on the transfer market,” Rossoblu sporting director Rino Foschi told Voce Giallorossa. “I have nothing more to add…”

The Italian international, 30, has three Serie A goals in 11 games so far this season.
