Gian Piero Gasperini says his Genoa side will ‘keep going until the last day’ ahead of the visit of Cagliari tomorrow.

The Grifone had looked like European contenders earlier in the season, but have fallen away, and now sit 10th after five games without a win.

“Lately we haven’t won very often,” Gasperini conceded in his pre-match Press conference.

“We have the opportunity to improve our position, and we intend to keep going until the last day of the season – that’s the commitment of myself and the players.
