Genoa are reportedly in talks to sign former Palermo striker Abel Hernandez for next season, as well as bring back Domenico Criscito.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernandez has long been on Genoa’s radar, dating back to when owner Enrico Preziosi professed his love for the Uruguayan’s qualities in 2013.

The 27-year-old joined Hull from Palermo in 2014 and has scored 34 goals for the Tigers, but injury problems have limited him to just three appearances this season.

The newspaper adds Inter are also in the race for the attacker, given Walter Sabatini took him to Palermo 10 years ago, when he was their sporting director.

Finally, La Gazzetta claims Criscito has a “70 percent” chance of returning to the Grifone this summer, the left-back having left them for the Russian side in 2011.
