Genoa are on the verge of signing PEC Zwolle right-back Kingsley Ehizibue after he passed a medical.
Calciomercato.com reports Genoa will pay €2-3m for Ehizibue, who took medical tests in the area on Thursday morning.
The website adds the Grifone have beaten SPAL and city rivals Sampdoria to the former Netherlands Under-21 international.
Born in Germany and of Nigerian extraction, the 23-year-old can also play as a right winger.
He will become Genoa’s second full-back arrival this month after Giuseppe Pezzella from Udinese.
