Genoa have underlined that neither Ciro Immobile nor Marco Borriello will be joining Juventus this month.

The Old Lady are looking for a new striker and both Rossoblu forwards have been paired with a January switch.

“We consider Immobile and Borriello two really important players,” President Enrico Preziosi stated to Sky Sport Italia.

“Our objective is to strengthen and not weaken the side, therefore we’re actually thinking about bringing in another forward…”

Immobile, co-owned with Juventus, has scored five League goals so far this season. Borriello, who also has five strikes, spent the second half of last season on loan in Turin.
