Genoa will take back Mattia Destro after agreeing a deal with Siena – but he’s now set to be sold on.
The future was at the centre of a tug-of-war between the two clubs who owned him, but the Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Rossoblu have tempted Siena to sell before the need for a blind auction.
Destro, scorer of 12 Serie A goals for the Tuscan minnows this term, is now expected to be immediately sold on.
Inter are very interested in their former youth team player, but Roma and Juventus are also tracking the Under-21 international.
As part of the deal, Genoa will sign Luca Rossettini and take a co-ownership of Rizzo and Ginocchi from Siena.
In return, Cofie and Polenta will move from Genoa to the Stadio Franchi.
Meanwhile, Siena have confirmed that Stefano Antonelli has replaced Giorgio Perinetti’s as the club’s new sporting director.
