Genoa have been linked with a swoop for Spanish striker Jose Salomon Rondon, who has impressed with Malaga.
The 21-year-old talent was also tracked by the Grifone in recent months and, according to Spanish newspaper AS, are preparing a bid in January.
His contract holds him to Malaga until June 2014 and his price-tag is around €10m.
