Genoa have reportedly set their sights on landing Roma right-back Bruno Peres.
Peres is currently on loan at Sao Paulo with an option to buy.
However, he has made just two appearances since February and Globoesporte does not expect the Brazilian side to retain him.
With that in mind, the newspaper writes Genoa will dive in for the 29-year-old if his loan spell is terminated early.
Peres made his name at Torino, impressing enough in his two seasons at the club to earn a move to Roma in 2016.
