Sebastian Giovinco is in intensive negotiations for a return to Serie A with Genoa, claim Sportitalia, after his spell with Al-Hilal.

It’s no secret the 33-year-old would relish another experience in Italy, having left for Toronto FC in February 2015 and then moved on to Saudi side Al-Hilal in January 2019.

His contract runs until June 2021, but he should be able to buy himself out of it relatively easily.

Parma had shown interest, but now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Genoa are in talks for the Atomic Ant.
