Genoa President Enrico Preziosi is expecting some big performances from new signing Ciro Immobile this season.

The Italian Under-21 international is co-owned with Juventus, but will spend the campaign at Marassi.

“I think that Immobile could be a protagonist for us,” the Rossoblu patron told TMW. “However, we also have some other interesting youngsters who could turn into nice surprises.”

Immobile, 22, was signed by the Old Lady as a youngster in 2008. Over the last 24 months he has been sent out on loan to Siena, Grosseto and Pescara.

The centre-forward was the Serie B top scorer in the past campaign thanks to his 28 League strikes under the guidance of Zdenek Zeman.
