Genoa have reportedly agreed to take Tomas Andrade on loan from River Plate after trials at Everton and Bournemouth.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 19-year-old midfielder will arrive on loan with an option to buy for €2m, the deal to be completed over the weekend.
This is considerably less than the previously rumoured asking price of €4.9m to make the move permanent.
Andrade is already in Europe, as he had a trial run at Everton and was all set to sign before Coach Roberto Martinez had a change of heart.

Over the last few days he has been training with Premier League newcomers Bournemouth.
He was voted player of the tournament at the Under-17 World Championships and impressed again at the Under-19 Dallas Cup.
Genoa have the all-clear to sign Argentine Andrade, as he has an Italian passport.
