Genoa have reportedly made a €7m offer to purchase 50 per cent of Lille midfielder Thiago Maia, which would be an unusual deal.
According to Le10Sport in France, the Grifone are in negotiations to buy up half the Brazilian’s contract.
Sky Sport Italia had also stated on Saturday that the 22-year-old was approached by Genoa.
It would be strange for Genoa to only buy half the player, unless it was a loan at €7m with option to buy for another €7m.
