According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kim-Min jae’s move to Manchester United in July is inevitable, so the Partenopei have set their sights on Hiroki Ito and Ko Itakura.

Kim won’t play in Napoli‘s last Serie A game of the season on Sunday due to a one-match ban. However, he will be at the Stadio Maradona and will likely bid farewell to the Partenopei fans.

‘Every insider takes for granted that Kim will join Man United in July,’ wrote Maurizio Nicita in Saturday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, page 17.

However, the Red Devils must wait for the first two weeks of July to complete the defender’s signature. Kim’s release clause, in fact, is only valid outside Serie A and can be activated in the first 15 days of July.

It’s worth at least €50m, but it can rise depending on the revenues of the club triggering it.

Napoli paid €18m to sign Kim from Fenerbache last summer, replacing Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to Gazzetta, the Partenopei have already identified two potential replacements for the South Korea international: Hiroki Ito of Stuttgart and Borussia M’Gladbach’s Ko Itakura.
