Cagliari’s new signing Gaston Pereiro has arrived in Sardinia ahead of his move from PSV Eindhoven.
The 24-year-old Uruguay international will be out of contract in June, so should be available for a relatively low fee.
He made only eight competitive appearances this season for the Dutch giants, scoring two goals.
“I am here to continue the tradition of Uruguayans at Cagliari,” Pereiro told reporters upon landing.
“I am very happy to be here in Sardinia. I feel good physically and I am ready to play.”
