Gian Piero Gasperini says he is ‘truly sorry’ for pushing a Sampdoria official during Atalanta’s 2-1 Serie A win on Sunday.

Gasperini pushed Samp secretary Massimo Ienca to the ground as he made his way down the tunnel at Marassi, having been sent to the stands.

“I’m not proud of the example that I set my players, the club and all the fans,” the Coach told his club’s official website.
