Gian Piero Gasperini says a draw would be useless for Genoa as much as for their rivals Cesena, and wants to play an aggressive game.

The Grifoni were already acknowledged by their rival Coach Domenico Di Carlo as a particularly offensive team, and the 57-year-old confirmed that impression in his Press conference.

“Winning against Cesena won't be easy. Tomorrow we'll do everything we can to win, they need points to escape relegation.

“A draw would be useless for them as much as it would be for us. But we want to win for our tifosi – I know that they are preparing a special choreography.

“[Goalkeeper Mattia] Perin should play, but we'll consider his condition in training. In any case [Eugenio] Lamanna is ready.

“[Striker Leonardo] Pavoletti has put in some good performances. He scored against Parma and he played well against Palermo. He could come in handy when playing at home.”
