Speaking ahead of tonight’s home match with Lazio, the experienced tactician added that he is satisfied with his side’s Serie A season so far, with Atalanta currently eighth.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s home match with Lazio, the experienced tactician added that he is satisfied with his side’s Serie A season so far, with Atalanta currently eighth.
“Right now the League table looks good, even though there are a lot of teams with only a few points between them,” Gasperini commented.
“We are looking to get our best form back and we need more consistency.
“Lazio are a very strong team, even more so than last year and we need to congratulate them for what they are doing.”
Gasperini was asked whether he would prefer to beat Dortmundor secure a second successive European qualification.
“They are two nice challenges. We will compete against the Germans, we’ll see how much character we will play with.
“I am only thinking about this season and I want to get the most out of this great challenge.
“The group is great and the new players have given us a lot. We want to have a good League season.”
