La Dea fight for a place in the Champions League next term and are qualified for the Coppa Italia Final in May.

Tomorrow’s opponents, however, sit 12th in the table and have created a 11-point gap down to relegation with 10 games remaining.

Gasperini is wary of the opponents tomorrow and said the Nerazzurri must be attentive, as Luca Gotti’s men have ‘climbed out of a difficult moment’.

“Udinese’s value is given by performances and players,” Gasperini said at a press conference. “They have valuable players and have climbed out of a difficult moment in the table.

“It had been indicated by everyone, but in that bracket, there are many teams of a certain value that know how to take points from everyone.”

Gasperini expects a difficult game at the Gewiss Stadium, when the Friuli arrive tomorrow.

“There’s the environment, the opponent, but we must shift the focus to the game,” Gasperini said. “It will be like this for the remaining games, all of them are complicated and difficult.

“We arrive from a good period, not only because of the results but also the conditions. These reasons are superior to all kinds of doubts that can arise.”
