Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone reveals why he won't forgive Antonio Cassano. “I've got Cassanitis, but I'm on the road to recovery and feel better.”

Around 200 fans staged a friendly protest at Blucerchiati headquarters urging the patron to halt the legal proceedings to terminate his contract.

Some of the banners included the phrase: ‘Samp without Cassano is like the sea without fish.'

It is also reported that Cassano has asked captain Angelo Palombo to mediate between them, but the President remains unmoved.

“I am looking for medicine, as I have been hit by a virus,” Garrone told Radio Babboleo.

“I've got Cassanitis, but I'm on the road to recovery and slowly getting better. I feel better.”

There are even suggestions that the official 2011 Sampdoria calendar has been delayed so that Cassano can be photoshopped out of all the pictures.
